We arrive when we said we would, protection goes down before we start, and the area is cleaned down at the end of each day.
Photographs of the work are added as jobs are completed.
HOW WE WORK
THE TWO THINGS PEOPLE WORRY ABOUT
Most worries about a plasterer come down to two things: whether he turns up, and what the place looks like when he leaves.
The quote and the start date are agreed first.
Areas should be cleared before the first day.
We arrive around 8am, and you hear from us in advance if anything changes.
Floors and anything in or around the working area are protected before we start.
The area is cleaned down at the end of each day.
Waste is bagged and left on site, and can be moved to a spot of your choosing where that is practical. We do not take waste away. On larger jobs with more waste, a skip can be priced in if necessary.
We are contactable 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and enquiries can be sent at any time.
WHAT WE DO
THE WORK WE TAKE ON
If a job falls outside what we do, we say so. Where the old plaster has failed, walls are floated back out before the finish coat as part of the same job.
Skimming
walls and ceilings brought to a smooth, even finish ready to decorate, including over Artex where the surface allows
Dry lining
overboarding ceilings and dot and dab plasterboarding to existing walls
Sand and cement rendering
external walls
Repairs and patching
cracks, blown areas and holes made good
We use quality materials suited to the job.
WHAT WE PUT IN WRITING
WHAT IS COVERED, AND WHAT IS NOT
All of it is set out in writing before the work is agreed.
Guarantee
one year on our workmanship, in writing, covering faults caused by our preparation or application.
Not structural movement, damp, leaks, failure of the existing background, everyday wear and repeated knocks, or damage from work carried out by others.
Insurance
we carry £1,000,000 public liability insurance through Simply Business, in case anything ever goes wrong.
Quoting
free site visit and free written quote.
The written quote sets out the work, the price and an estimate of how long it should take.
