Cookies
What this site stores on your device, what we ask your permission for, and how to change your mind.
Last updated 25 October 2026.
The short version
This site uses two kinds of cookies. Strictly necessary ones keep the site and the enquiry form working, and are set without asking because the site cannot run without them. Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies help us see how the site is used and whether our adverts lead to enquiries. Those are set only if you choose Accept all, or switch them on under Manage, in the banner that appears on your first visit. Until you choose, nothing optional is set.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
What a cookie is
A small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that something can be remembered between one page and the next.
What this site uses
Strictly necessary. Set by the website software itself to make pages load, remember that you have answered the cookie banner (a cookie called nova_consent, kept for six months) and keep the enquiry form safe from automated abuse. These are not used to build a profile of you and are not shared with anyone. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, cookies of this kind do not need your consent.
Measurement, only with your consent. Google Analytics tells us which pages are read, how people arrive at the site and roughly where they are. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, which last up to two years. It does not tell us who you are.
Advertising, only with your consent. We advertise on Google. Google Ads conversion tracking tells us whether someone who clicked an advert went on to send the enquiry form, call, email or message us on WhatsApp, so we know whether the advertising is worth paying for. It sets cookies named _gcl_au and _gcl_aw, which last around three months, and Google may set its own cookies on google.com and doubleclick.net. We use this to measure, not to show you our adverts elsewhere.
If you decline, no Google cookies are set. Google still receives a small anonymous signal that a page was viewed, with no cookie and no identifier, which it uses to estimate overall totals. It cannot be traced back to you.
Both services are provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google explains how it handles this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Changing your choice
Click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to open the banner again and switch measurement or advertising on or off. Your choice is kept for six months, then we ask again.
Every browser also lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will not stop you reading this site, though the enquiry form may stop working.
If this changes
If we add any other cookies or services, we will update this page and ask for your consent again where the law requires it. Questions about any of this: Enquiries@novaplastering.co.uk.
