We turn up when we say we will. Protection goes down before we start, and the site is cleaned down at the end of each day.

ON SITE
WHAT EACH DAY LOOKS LIKE.
The quote and a start date are agreed first. We arrive around 8am, and driveways, patios and anything in or around the working area are protected where needed.
The site is cleaned down at the end of each day. On rendering a skip is included in the price.
How long the work takes depends on the size of the job and the preparation needed. We give an estimate of that with the quote.

MATERIALS
THE MATERIALS AND THE MIX.
The render is mixed on site in sand and cement. A scratch coat goes on first and is left to set before the finish coat.
We use quality materials suited to the job.
COVER
WHAT YOU GET IN WRITING.
The work carries a one year workmanship guarantee, given in writing and running from the day the work is finished. It covers faults caused by our preparation or application. It does not cover structural movement, damp, leaks, failure of the existing background, everyday wear and repeated knocks, or damage from work carried out by others.
We carry £1,000,000 public liability insurance through Simply Business, in case anything ever goes wrong.
We are a new business with six years of plastering behind it.
PRICE
WHAT DECIDES THE PRICE.
Rendering is priced on the condition of the wall and how much preparation it needs. A site visit comes before a firm price, and a skip is included in the price. Where scaffolding or access equipment is required, we arrange it and it is included in the quoted price.
You will be given an estimated number of days with the quote.
Photos are enough to start on a price. The site visit and the written quote are free.
We are not the cheapest quote you will get.

When can it be painted?
Traditional sand and cement render generally needs around four to six weeks to dry and cure before painting, and longer in cold or damp weather. An even colour on its own does not mean it is ready to paint. We give an estimate for your job based on the conditions on site.
How much disruption is there?
Rendering is messy work, so there is some. Driveways, patios and anything in or around the working area are protected where needed, and the site is cleaned down at the end of each day.
Do I need to be there?
Not for the whole job. We need access to the outside walls and a way to reach you if anything comes up.
How long will you be here?
That depends on the size of the job and the amount of preparation needed. We give an estimate with the quote and tell you if anything changes.
